EVANGELISM OUTREACH TO VAZIANI
From International Baptist Church Tbilisi. We are planning an evangelism outreach in a village called Vaziani. Vaziani is located between the East and North of the Republic of Georgia. It is a small village with a population of 3,000, half of whom are Muslims and Christians. The people are from Azerbaijan and Turkey, but the gospel has never been preached to them. They simply identify as Christians by name.
Vaziani is a poor village where people lack the money to buy food and clothes, and they have no opportunities.We have been praying for the village since we learned about it, but we don't know anyone there. We entered the village by God's direction and by faith, asking God for His guidance. God showed us favor, and we found one small store, which we believe is the only store in the village. We went inside and met two ladies. We greeted them with the love of Christ, and they responded respectfully. We told them we would like to come and share the gospel, but they didn’t understand what that meant due to the language barrier. Thankfully, we had a translator who speaks Georgian, and by God's grace, the conversation went well, and they understood our mission.
We plan to go there on the 15th of this month to share the gospel, distribute clothing, shoes, kitchen items, and shoeboxes for the children. We received a list indicating there are 99 children and many families in need.
