our heavenly Father hears you. He is in this moment. Whatever that moment is ... joy, pain, or complete emptiness, He is fully in it and you can be sure He is a ready help in times of trouble. I know it's easy to feel abandoned: like He has no clue what you're going through and certainly can't take the time to answer your prayer. I, too, cried out asking why the Father had forsaken Me, but regardless of the emptiness and loneliness I felt, His victory was sure. When what you're going through seems as though it is the worst possible situation, it is your heart separated from the Father that is worse. Your faith connects you to Him. And a heart devoted to His brings about a journey full of troubles and triumphs. Don't ever lose sight of the goal: You are on this journey in life to be perfected - developing faith that prepares you to live with the Father, forever. Your problem with your faith is that you're not convinced He will do things the way He's supposed to or when He should. It's hard to understand that He has allowed the storm in your life, in an effort to increase your faith by threatening to destroy it. Know that even though My disciples had seen Me perform many miracles, they still doubted My ability to control their storm ... you are not alone in your doubt and disbelief. Out of the Father's desire to increase their faith, bringing them to the edge of their faith, I asked them to step into a boat and risk it. Faith isn't faith until it requires you to take a step into the unseen. And it's there that the Father will answer you.
